Dear Friend,

We have been through a lot this year. Many people just can’t wait for this year to be over. Maybe you are one of them, or maybe you are like me and you want to finish this year out strong.

Christmas 2020 does not have to be a disappointment. 2020 does not have to be a waste. In fact, it is not too late to turn 2020 into the best year of your life. We can’t change the life-altering tragedies of this year, but we can enter 2021 as a changed person. This is only possible with the greatest gift ever given.

Everyone likes to receive gifts, especially valuable gifts. The greater the love and sacrifice given to secure a gift, the greater we value that gift.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Christmas is the celebration of the greatest gift ever given. Yes, we celebrate the birth of Jesus, but this isn’t the greatest part of the gift. The most valuable part is that Jesus gave His life for us.

It is beyond my imagination that the one who created the entire universe died for me, but He did. This gift can change your life right now.

Most people foolishly reject this gift. Don’t be one that rejects a new life and an eternity in Heaven for a life without blessings and an eternity in Hell.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This is a gift that you and I cannot do without. The reason that we need this gift is that we are all sinners.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

If we die with this sin debt unpaid, we will spend an eternity in hell, because the payment of sin is death.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The greatest gift is Jesus. He came to earth to die on the cross in our place. He did what we could not do for ourselves. After shedding His bleed, and dying on the cross, He rose from the dead on the third day.

When someone gives you a gift at Christmas it is not yours until you take it. It also doesn’t cost you anything. If it did, it would not be a gift.

The gift that Jesus offers you is also free, but you do not have it until you take it.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Don’t wait another minute to accept the free gift of eternal life.

Believe that Jesus died in your place to pay for your sins and rose from the dead. If you did this, you have received the greatest gift that will change your life forever.
